Now, I love all things Jane Austen. Love the books, love the movies. Love the Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow. Love the six-hour version of Pride and Prejudice, and the shorter version with Keira Knightley. I'm borderline obsessed with the newer Pride and Prejudice soundtrack. I've listened to it so much over the years, I could probably hum you the entire thing.
However, tonight I may have found a new favorite. I just finished watching PBS' new Masterpiece Theater version of Emma. I'm not sure when it came out, but from now until March 9th (Tuesday) you can watch it for free here. Two words: so good. Great character development, great soundtrack, great portrayals of Emma and Mr. Knightley.
Well, I'm off to iTunes to see if this new one has a soundtrack... :)
