Better late than never! Here are Norah's six-month appointment stats:
Height: 24.75 in. (15th percentile...she's just a peanut)
Weight: 15.7 lbs. (35th percentile)
Head: 16 in. (45th percentile)
This month she is...
-Almost sitting up by herself. She still falls over after a minute or two, though.
-Having some separation anxiety. This has been difficult. Off and on for the last few weeks, Norah has been crying every time I leave the room and at EVERY nap. This makes getting anything done around the apartment close to impossible when she's awake. I've basically been dragging the Bumbo with me from room to room.
-Getting up on her knees as if she's about to take off crawling. We think she may start actually moving here in the next few weeks.
-Eating solids! This has been slow but she's interested and improving.
-And this is probably the biggest thing we've noticed this month: CURIOUSITY. Norah is curious about everything. If it's within her reach, she'll grab it and put it in her mouth. She's very aware of her surroundings.
Happy half-birthday to our favorite baby!
