10 months

How are we at 10 months already?!

Oh, how things can change in a month! At 10 months we've not only seen Norah's bubbly personality bloom a little more, but we've also seen her assert a new found independence. This month she is...

-Eating all "real" food, all the time. At some point in the last month Norah decided she was too big for baby food and will no longer eat any of it. No more purees or rice cereal for this girl.

-Movin'. She loves using her little walker...

-Copycat! Norah starting waving this month (with the cutest little closed fist) and clicking her tongue after us. Here's a short video of her close-fisted wave:

-Signin'. We've been teaching Norah a little sign language to help with communication. I got to take some sign language classes in college, so it's really fun to actually be able to use some of it. So far she has learned "all done," "eat," and "milk." She signs "milk" for anything liquid and it is quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. As you'll see in the video below, she has to look at her hand while she's doing it to make sure her body is cooperating with her intentions...

Current dislikes: cottage cheese and being left in the church nursery
Current likes: peek-a-boo, feeding herself, looking out the window
