On that note, here's what the soon-to-be (tomorrow!) birthday girl has been up to:
-Busy. Wow. There's really no other word to describe her. Norah is super busy these days and into EVERYTHING. She only plays with things for a second or two before dropping them and moving on to something else.
-Standing...
-Weaned. Oh geez. This was a doozy. When Norah started cutting her top teeth she decided she no longer wanted to nurse, and so she quit...cold turkey. I tried for days to get her to nurse again and she'd just scream. And then, after 11 months of refusing to take a bottle, I gave her one out of desperation and she took it like it was no big deal. What. on. earth. And just as free advice, if it's at all within your control (which, in my case, it wasn't), I wouldn't recommend weaning that abruptly. Norah went from four feedings a day down to zero and my body, well, it went a-reelin'. It felt like morning sickness but way worse. On a positive note, however, Norah is now an expert at taking both a bottle and a sippy cup, and Matt has loved getting to help feed her.

Current dislikes: jelly, not being allowed to empty the bookshelves of all their books
Current likes: bananas, omelets, "cruising" around on anything remotely stationary
