Blogging has been a bit slow around here, y'all. What have I been up to? Here's a little sampling of the last six months or so:
-I finished another class. Officially at the halfway point with the Master's.
-I painted a dresser. I wanted a cabinet of some sort for our television to sit on, and this one fit the bill. I bought it for dirt cheap off of Craigslist thinking that since it was solid wood, it still had some life left in it. I just removed all the hardware, painted it with chalk paint, and replaced the drawer pulls with something a bit more modern. The middle door opens up to three more drawers.

-Baby gifts for friends from church.
-Sewed up some scarves.
-Painted our kitchen. When we moved in it was a dark red and I painted it a light blue.

And, finally, this:
-Growing a baby! This one has been the most exhausting—but most rewarding—project of them all. I'm now about 21 weeks along and am definitely showing. The first few months of this pregnancy were MUCH harder than with Norah. I was so sick and tired, basically all the time, expect for a few hours in the morning (yes, "morning" sickness can be quite the misnomer). The second trimester has been far better, but I'm still fighting quite a bit of dizziness. Hoping that will pass soon too. This baby loves to kick and wiggle around, but is still much more "chill" than Norah was.
We're so thankful to the Lord for this little growing life!
