Our sweet Norah has turned two! It's honestly hard for me to believe we've already hit this milestone. I know I say this for every month, but THIS really is my favorite age so far. Norah has moved from baby to little person and we're loving getting to see her personality bloom.
Her two-year stats:
Weight: 23 lbs. 10 oz. (10th percentile . . . still a peanut)
Height: 32.5 inches (25th percentile)
Head: 18.25 inches
She is:
-"Talking." All day long she's doing her version of talking. I'd say we can understand about 50% of it at this point. Some of our favorite things she says are: "Daddy, ah-you?" (Daddy where are you?), "No way," "ellie" (elephant), "heew" (hair), and "coowkie" (cookie).
-Outgoing! Norah can be very timid around new kids, but around adults, she's never met a stranger. When I walk through the grocery store, I feel like I'm pushing around a little politician. She's saying "hi" and waving to anyone who will pay attention to her! It's so sweet.
-Assertive. "See" (sit) is her favorite word these days. She's not shy letting us (and others!) know what she wants. We've been told she's often the ring leader in the nursery.
I'll leave you with a short video. This is very much Norah. Talking and playing nicely before a suddenly random request . . .
Happy birthday, Norah! We love you to pieces! You bring such joy to our lives.
Thanks for the sweet updates! Can't wait to be together at Thanksgiving!
