What a girl wants

I want a baby...






puppy.

A Boxer puppy to be exact. I grew up with a Boxer and desperately want to have one here in Kentucky. They are just the best...they are laid back, funny, and never really grow up. It's kinda like having a sixty pound lapdog.

There are just two slight problems:
a) They make me sneeze. How can a person be allergic to something they love so much?!
b) We don't really have a yard.

Problem A is a much larger issue than problem B. Every week that I go to the allergist to get my shots I think to myself, "This is so you can get a dog one day. *pause* Oh, and so you don't continue to sneeze your way through life and so that you don't have to get sinus surgery again."

Anyways, funny story. The little girl I'm a nanny for knows that I really want a Boxer. Well about a month into working with her, I get this email in my inbox with a PowerPoint attached. The PowerPoint is titled, Why Mr. Matt should let Ms. Maghan get a Boxer. I kid you not. It was a complete PowerPoint presentation detailing the reasons why it would be a good idea for Mr. Matt to allow me to get a puppy. With full transitioning slides, dissolving pictures, and commentary. Everything from, "It would make Ms. Maghan happy" to "Ms. Maghan would take such good care of it." I about died laughing. One day, when the allergy shots finally kick in, I'm going to pull that PowerPoint back out to show Mr. Matt. :)
