It seems that you can always tell when my semester begins to draw to a close because this blog goes SILENT.
*Crickets*
But to the six faithful people (whoever you are, I'm probably related to all of you) that have continued to keep checking for new posts...I owe you a hug. ;)
I've decided that I'm going to stop apologizing for blogging "lulls", if you will. I want this blog to be something fun, a way to connect with family and friends from afar. I have a million things that I would love to put on here, but I also need to be realistic. I've been working a full-time, very demanding job. And I've been taking two classes a semester with not-so-light reading. And if I want my husband to eat something other than scrambled eggs and Twizzlers, I have to you know...go grocery shopping sometimes. It would be great to be able to be home during the day and blog more frequently. Maybe one day!
A few updates for you--the semester is coming to a close and finals are next week. I put in my "month's notice" at work last week, so a new job of some sort is hopefully on the horizon for me (feeling great about that decision, by the way). I'm still LOVING my classes, even with the monstrous amount of reading. We love our church family here and really feel like our apartment has become "home." It's hard to believe we've been here over a year now!
Anyway, I have a bunch of pictures from the last two months or so to put on here so hopefully I'll be able to add those soon.
