I really enjoyed this project. I thought I would hate quilting, but in making this blanket, I realized that it's actually very much up my alley. I think I like quilting for one of the same reasons I like baking: it's very methodical. You can't have too much of any one thing--it has to be precise and done in a certain order. This seems to go well with my "rule-abiding" tendencies. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. :)
So here's the finished product! The squares are all from Amy Butler's "Love" fabric line and Matt actually picked out the backing and binding colors.
