Thoughts for the moment.

-Trying to paint your toenails at 39 weeks pregnant is really hard.

-I'm super excited about fall. Today I bought a few cans of pumpkin for baking and ate some candy corn. And by "some," I mean half a bag.

-One thing that continues to surprise me about pregnancy is how my very large (and very clearly pregnant) belly seems to send the following message to strangers: "Ask me anything!" I was sitting in a waiting room today and had a complete stranger drill me on when I'm due, my symptoms, and even how much WEIGHT I've gained! The woman was very sweet and I know she was just excited for me, but I'm pretty confident that pregnancy is the only time you can get away with asking a woman about her weight gain. :)

Oh, and here is said belly (39 weeks tomorrow):

-I'm LOVIN' my new little X-Mini speaker. I bought this with some birthday money a few weeks ago and LOVE it. I really wanted to be able to listen to my iPod around the apartment, but don't like wearing the earbuds for a long time. Plus, our apartment layout makes it's difficult to hear anything unless it's right in the room with you. This little guy, therefore, is just what I've needed. I just charge him up on my computer, plug him into my iPod, and then I carry him around from room to room!

-Our milk expires on Sept. 29th. That's our due date. My pregnancy is scheduled to expire when our milk does. I find this funny.

-Matt surprised me last Friday night by taking me to an Andrew Peterson concert! Do you know him? He's a Christian singer and author. He's a total lyricist/wordsmith, and since I basically listen to music for the lyrics, his albums are right up my alley. He has a really great Christmas album ("Behold The Lamb of God"), as well as this really sweet song about marriage:

That's all, folks!
