At just past two years, little Norah is our energetic, quick to laugh, observant, silly firstborn. She's full-on "little girl" these days, and we're enjoying getting to know her personality more and more.
Recently, Norah is:
-Mommy's helper! Norah loves throwing away trash, putting dirty (and clean) clothes in the laundry, and putting silverware away. Oh, and she LOVES to vacuum. I may or may not have given her the vacuum today just to keep her busy for a few minutes. We are so thankful for her sweet, eager-to-help spirit.
-Talking, talking. Norah basically talks all day long now. We still only understand about 50-60% of it, but she's learning new words every day. She also has her own set of words that only our little family can interpret. Things like "My" (her version of "Mom"), "Dye" ("Dad"), and "fra" ("phone").
-Cuddly. Norah has never been much of a cuddler, but with the new baby at home she's been more interested in sneaking in some hugs. I'm not complaining!
-A great big sister. "Gentle" is the new word around our house. Norah asks to hold Juliet first thing every morning and loves kissing and hugging her. It's been sweet to see her slowly getting more attached to her little sister.
Norah, we love you to pieces. Seriously. Thanks for being so fun.
Norah seems like such a big girl, especially since Juliet's birth! I miss her so much!
