So much to blog about, so little time. I hope to post some new pictures, Norah's birth story, and a one month update SOON, but right now my time is being spent primarily caring for our sweet baby girl around the clock and correcting typos.
And you're wondering, "Did she just say 'correcting typos'?" Oh yes. That's what I said. Correcting typos.
In the last week I've almost daily received some form of very important documentation that requires correction. Corrections that I really don't have time to make right now, but all things that are quite time-sensitive and therefore must be dealt with immediately.
For example:
1. We got Norah's insurance card in the mail. They left the "r" out of her first name. I'm now the mother of "Noah." I called our insurance company and it's not just a misprint on the card; that's the way she's entered in their system and so all the paperwork has to be resubmitted.
2. I renewed our car registration last month. Or at least I attempted to. Apparently the VIN number on our old car registration and on our insurance card don't match. I have no idea which one is correct. Guess we'll have to figure that one out.
3. We also received Norah's birth certificate in the mail. This time, my first name under "maiden name" is misspelled (i.e., "Meghan"). I have to write a letter requesting to have it fixed.
4. When I called the state office about the birth certificate, they informed me that not only is my first name-under-maiden name wrong on Norah's certificate, but my first name under "married name" on the state records is also misspelled. That, of course, requires another letter.
Oh well. It will all get done somehow! Right?
For now, I'm just "Meghan," driving around town with my daughter "Noah" on an invalid car registration. :)
