Here are some stats from Norah's one month check up:
Height: 20.5 (25% percentile)
Weight: 8 1bs. 14 oz. (25-50% percentile)
Head: 14.5 (25-50% percentile)
What's Norah up to at one month?
-Smiling! Norah started smiling "on accident" sometime during week two and by the end of week three she seemed to be smiling "on purpose."
-Eating. She takes eating VERY seriously. Norah's an aggressive eater and rarely falls asleep on the job. I've been told that most babies take 20-45 minutes to nurse; our daughter, 10-15 minutes. Occasionally 20. I was concerned that she might not be eating enough since she's so fast, but our pediatrician assured me that she's gaining weight and is just an unusually "efficient" eater. Go Norah!
-Testing out her voice. Norah sadly seems to have some "evening colic." During the last week, Norah has
-Staring. Norah's neck: ridiculously strong. In fact, right after she was born and they laid her on my chest, Norah lifted her head up and looked me right in the eye. Now, when we're holding her up on our chest, she likes to lock her arms, push off her chest, and hold her head up on her own. She seems to like looking directly at whoever's holding her.
-Rolling onto her side. Recently, if she's not swaddled tightly, she'll roll over onto her side when she about to wake up from a nap.
-Reading with dad! Matt has read to Norah everyday since she was born. She (usually) loves it. This picture was taken the day after she was born:

We love our sweet one month old. :)
I hear she also loves visiting Atlanta. :)

P.S. Love her. Hug her for me... so sorry about the colic. Try walking outside. Not that that helps the neighbor-side of it. It made Nate stop crying like magic... sometimes.
